Here are some answers to our most frequently asked questions

What are your set times?

In terms of timings we basically work around you and the day. Most evening parties allow guests to arrive from 7PM with the band playing somewhere between 8-9PM. We will be set up in time for guests arriving and will synchronise our sets around the cake cut/first dance/buffet (where applicable) If the client/venue can provide an itinerary upon arrival that would be great.

Do you play DJ music from guests arriving and in breaks?

Yes. We will have DJ music on from the start of the party till after we finish and during breaks.

How long do you need to set up/what time will you arrive?

We require at least 90 minutes to set up prior to the performance and at least 60 minutes to pack up after the performance. Please inform us if the playing space is not located on the ground floor or special access is required to allow us a longer set up/break down period for our equipment.

Do you have PAT/PLI certificates?

Yes. Our equipment is fully PAT tested and we have public liability insurance. We will send certificates direct to the venue in the lead up to the booking.

Are you playing anywhere locally?

We try to spread ourselves around the North East venues, so the chances are we will be playing somewhere local to you this year.

That's great! Get in touch with us using the contact form/email/social media. Please make sure to include the date and the venue of your event in the message (if known).

We will offer you a quote if we are available and if you are happy to go ahead, we can secure the date by taking a 10% deposit. Once the deposit is paid you will receive a contract to sign which will protect both sides of the agreement and then we are all set.

Can you learn the first dance or other song requests?

Yes. In terms of song requests, we are happy to learn and perform a first dance for a wedding, but additional requests may incur additional fees. This is largely due to the time and logistics required to learn new material and to book rehearsal spaces to practice them. We have a very busy gigging calendar which is great, but the downside is that it does not leave very much time to get together in the practice room!

Another factor which should be taken into consideration is the complexity and/or genre of this song(s) requested. For this reason we cannot guarantee that we can honour all song requests as there are certain songs that just do not fit a guitar based line up/male vocal range.
